Two ID cards per A4 sheet, straight from ERPNext
A print format that turns ERPNext employee records into finished, front-and-back staff ID cards — two to a sheet — with no external design tool in the loop.
Interactive proof
Four working views of the portfolio: guided troubleshooting, evidence behind each skill, system architecture and a chronological activity record.
Choose the next diagnostic move. These simulations use the production patterns I work with: isolate first, change second, verify last.
Users in one building report intermittent latency while the main internet link remains online.
What should be established first?
Diagnostic principle
Preserve evidence, reduce the fault domain, and make one justified change at a time.
Select a capability to trace it to production experience, case studies and role-focused views.

No dedicated case study yet; the experience record is the supporting evidence.
Move through each system from source to outcome, then select a component to inspect its responsibility.
Resilient upstream connectivity feeding fibre distribution across a 1,200-acre site.
Selected component
Independent terminals provide aggregate capacity and reduce reliance on one upstream path.
Published case studies, technical writing, credentials and public engineering activity in one record.

A short field note on why latency complaints in a large network almost never point at the fibre — and the order I actually check things in.

The commercial team re-keyed machinery and vehicle line items from a folder of scanned invoices into a Word template, one PDF at a time. A Windows batch tool reads each PDF, keeps only the qualifying items, and exports a finished invoice named by its BOE number — with an AI fallback for the scans plain text can't reach.
ERPNext prints documents, not cards. A Jinja print format that puts two bilingual employee ID cards — front and back — on a single A4 sheet, at dimensions a guard can check at a gate.
No fibre to the door, no single satellite link fast enough, and CCTV plus point-of-sale data to move from factories to head office. Eight Starlink terminals aggregated into a fibre distribution layer.
HR needed one system for employee records, asset assignments, work cards and hostel allocations — real PII for 8,000 workers across four offices. Built on ERPNext, kept off the public internet, with administrator access gated behind a VPN on the MikroTik router.
In a park this size, “the internet is slow” almost never means what it says. Fibre barely adds latency; the fault is a dirty connector, a failing SFP, a switching loop, a bent cable. A method for diagnosing by layer instead of by the loudest guess.
Foreign investment across Africa brings real jobs and real skills — and real hardship. An honest look at both sides, and why the debate that matters is about power and accountability, not nationality.
